Picture frame for my parents

I made this for my parents anniversary. The picture of them is from their prom in 1965. I never made
a frame before and decided to give it a try. I used no power tools and even though you can’t see
it too well, I made the molding by hand with my beading tool. Not sure what the main wood is but
the stand has oak dowel and the back is poplar. The wood was at Lowe’s and it just said “Hardwood”.
It sits in the stand so it could come off and be hung. I printed the saying on the paper at my house. It
came out kind of dull, but it actually works well because the picture is 45 years old. Thanks for looking.
