First try at a bandsaw box. Finished it just in time for Mothers Day. My kids helped me cut and sand it. My bandsaw is a very old one (1964). I have never used one and had to make some adjustments because of mechanical failures during this project (whole other story). Anyway replaced tires and blade on bandsaw last week, and finished this project up. Its made out of Douglas Fur, used Light Cherry Oil rub and spray on Poly for finish. Wife loved it. Thanks for all your post on these boxes. Gave me alot of inspiration. I cant wait to get going on the next one.

I think it’s great you got your kids involved. Bandsaw boxes do take a lot of sanding. Bet Mom really loves it since the family built it together.

wrtnaz. I am a little late on catching up around.. I liek the box and glad your wife liked it as well. These are great little things as I have been playing with several myself lately. Look forward to seeing more from you, and a belated welcome.
