Ash chair.

This is the first chair I ever built. I used plans from a Garrett Hack chair he did in FWW.

I used pallet wood, from a 12 foot long pallet that delivered steel sheeting to my neighbor. The runners were 3”x4” ash posts. You can still see the nail holes from the slats nailed across.

This was a challenging project I built for fun. Now it might be time for that rocking chair…

Chairs, the next frontier! Great job, I love Ash, about to use it for a top on a “Farmhouse Coffee Table”.

I also loved the use of reclaimed wood. Are pallets often made of Ash?

Nice work, making chairs is another world, I encourage you for a rocking chair, you will have goose bumps ,

Thanks guys… the rocking chair is in the works.

Bravesst, I’m really not sure about ash pallets. I’m sure at least a small % of pallets are ash. It’s a great wood for it!
