Hey all,

I had made a few posts while I was working on this project. It’s a desk made out of alder that I wanted to be narrow enough so that it doesn’t stick out of the wall too far.

The desk is made out of alder, finished with MinWax wipe-on clear satin poly (40910). I used mortise and tenon joints to attach everything, and drawbored the ones for the legs / feet using walnut dowels. I ended up leaving the dowels protruding 1-2mm rather than cutting them trim because I like how they look.

Great looking desk—I’m sure you’ll get a lot of good use from it!

Very nice. Simple and elegant.
