My neighbor Paul had an urgent request for my woodworking assistance!!! He received a special poster for his favorite team. It had to get posted in the front yard…. we can all rest in comfort now we have resolved this pressing issue.

Can you post a cut list for this project? And can you send plans?

It will take time to put together a thorough plan and cut list, I am afraid something as advanced and complicated should probably require a fee $$$.

Did you use mortise and tenon, or Dove tails joinery? Inquiring minds want to know!

Your craftsmanship is outstanding and what I’m about to say is in no way a critique of your skills: While I admire his enthusiasm for his team and the great sport of Hockey, I question his judgement in sports memorabilia. That poster will go up in value when they win, but only if it is kept in pristine condition (no exposure to sun. wind, rain, or holes from being nailed to a wooden frame). Next time suggest a nice frame of exotic hardwood with hand cut dovetails and contrasting splines and UV filtering glass to hang on a wall INSIDE. The wife may not like it, but in 50 years the folks on Antiques Roadshow will go crazy for it.
Only half joking – I have a degree in museum management. :)
Thanks for my laugh of the day.

Need a SketchUp ASAP!
In all seriousness, I post walnut furniture to Facebook and people message about making stuff like this or helping to hang some shutters. The public has no clue.

Should have tapered the legs to give it more elegance….....Fail!

This posting hurts! My home town Flames were swept out of playoffs in 4, the Habs attempt at greatness fizzled and the Toronto Maple Leafs are still wandering in the wilderness.
I don’t know what to do! It is such a sad time for me.
