A little wooden bottle – built lots of time ago – sort of fiaschetta, I mean that kind of little flask used in the past to hold gunpowder or alike. Just not to lose the habit of posting here something I have done.
Actually it is of no use, just a useless object to play with. Glued teak and some silver thread; I carved the inside before gluing the three teak layers; the cork is glued to a piece of teak (obviously you have to start with a greater teak piece, glued for certain to the cork, and only then you fit it by sanding).

2’’ high

Thank you Mario, I was still at high school, so about 30 years ago. Asterix! now I understand it! what’s the name of the huge friend of Asterix, I don’t remember…YOU are that one! (I’m joking)

Interesting piece Antonio and almost an antique now. At first I thought it might be a water bottle for your racing bike. Don’t worry about it not having a use, most art doesn’t. I like the idea that there is hidden carving involved.
