Birthday Bench

A simple bench for my dads birthday. I had an ash log with to much of a curve for much lumber so I slabbed it out for the legs on this bench. The seat and back-rest are oak as this was what I had handy in the right size. I used glue and really long dowels to hold it all together. Approx. dimensions- 5’ wide x 16” deep x 5’tall

Nice bench, cool stuff.
Did you put a finish on it?

Really nice bench. Love the live edges all over. Great job.

Keep it up.

Thanks guys!

Buckeye- It is under a roof but still outside so I just used an outdoors friendly polyurethane.

Very cool bench, love rough work like this. I made one last summer but had to redo the finish.
