This was my second segmented bowl. It is walnut, with maple contrasting rings. The bowl is 11 inches across and five deep. It is finished with a shellac-denatured alcohol-boiled linseed oil friction polish. I made a wedgie sled to cut the segments, using a plastic drafting triangle to set the fences. The jig worked great. This is as large a bowl as I can turn on my 12-inch Nova Comet II. It was a lot of fun.
