You nailed the pattern, perfect symmetry!
Curious as to what you used for the finger grooves, round profile router bit? What glue did you use?

It was done with a round nose bit as you say. I clamped the board vertically, using some boards as a guide for the router to move across. Because the board is radiused the groves taper off to an elliptical edge.
For the glue I used titebond 3.
