Hello fellas, I don’t know how many times I can post segmented bowl projects before you guys start to groan, but here I go again. The first bowl is cherry with purple heart stripes and caribbean rosewood base. The second bowl is caribbean rosewood with a cherry stripe. I ran across the rosewood at Windsor Plywood. I had not seen it used in projects before so I decided to give it a try. It is not fun to turn, but it sure came out pretty. Cherry, as always, turns like a dream. Thanks for taking a look, George

These may be more segmented bowls, but they are real beauties. Nice work.

You’re right, the rosewood did come out nice. The bowls are lovely.

On a slightly different note, do you ever find yourself wondering just how many different kinds of rosewood there are?
