End Grain Cutting board with routed handle
This end grain cutting board is different than the others because the student wanted to add a finger tip relief to lift the board off of the counter.

Very nice, how did you end up finishing it?

The students use mineral oil.

Your students did a fantastic job on this project! What wood species did they use? If I were to guess it would be Walnut, Red Oak, and White Oak.
