I made this mission style coffee table for my wife on her birthday. The plans were taken from Woodcraft Magazine Dec 07/Jan08 issue. The article was by Robert J. Settich with the design by Jim Probst. Instead of quartersawn oak I used standard 2X6`s for the legs and frame. I used edge glued 3/4 inch pine for the top and shelf. The finish was golden oak stain and Minwax Marine clear gloss varnish.

Beautiful design. I like the elegance of the narrow apron and drawers, rather than thick and clunky. Nice job, but I have to ask.. how does she feel about it being on the dining table? ;-)

Lol if she saw it there she would probably kill me! Just a good place to get a full view picture of it.

It looks great. But I have one question. Why did you put another table on top of it? ;-)
