This was a pretty ambitious first attempt at a bandsaw box! It isn’t as elegant as some I’ve seen, but I’m pretty happy with the way it turned out overall! I finished it with spraycan shellac, and I think next time I’ll either pad on the shellac, or use something like danish oil instead. I had a lot of trouble getting the finish even with the spray can stuff. The wife likes it, though, and will be using it to store some of her jewelry.

The taper makes it stand out
