Urban reclaimed walnut bookmatch dining table

I reclaimed this tree from a farmers yard in northwest Wisconsin. I slabbed it then air dried it for a year before I ran it through the kiln. Normally a 7-12 day job, I managed to crank out this dining table in just four days for an upcoming show. Thats a matching walnut slab desk in the background, also reclaimed from NW Wisconsin. Not bad for a guy with one arm.

man thats a gorgeous piece of walnut,and i like that you didnt over work it and let the wood be the star.great job.

Looks great….......not bad for a guy with 3 arms either!

I finished it with three coats of pre-cat lacquer laid down by a Fuji Q4 Platinum.
