This pub table was made to fit into a corner of the kitchen to small for a regular table. It’s made from hard maple with a clear satin polyurethane finish. Celtic knot design in the top was a failed attempt at string inlay, filled it in with wood filler and sanded flush.

Looks really good and you always learn more from failure than you do success. Where did you get the pattern for the chairs ? I have been looking for a simple design like that for a while now.
