A friend wanted a Toy Box for his son and asked me to make one. This is made of reclaimed pallet wood slimmed to 3 inch slats and sanded for a while using my random orbital. The basic dimensions are W 24in x H 17 x D 12 in. Since this was for a little one any rough nail holes I used a countersink bit to smooth them out. Stained it with an Ipswich and multiple layers of Polyacrylic. And as I usually do, I hand painted the letters.what do you think?

It looks very similar in construction to the Potato crates I repair

With your skills I think you could take over the repair work.
Every 3 months I repair about 35 to 40 and if you take it on I could teach you how its done and then retire.
I also get heaps of wood excellent for reuse.

You could make all sorts of stuff
Like bird houses

So what do you think? ...interested?
