Here is my second shotgun shell clock. With this clock I added some bling.
See the full build at my Instructables web page from start to finish.
Basically I built a box so that I could enclose and hide all the electronics and the clock mechanism. There is a little woodburning included with the DU duck head. Biggest challenge for a newbie was proper spacing and placement of the shotgun shells. I think the LED/Sensor circuit adds to it well. When I tinker I try to integrate at least a few technologies. Love work with what I know and explore the unknown.
Easy woodworking project made more interesting by integrating the electronics.
Overall, a fun project that should stand the test of time. Pun intended!
Enjoy!

Thanks for the kind words. Amazing what can be made out of some scrap lumber and shells that most often end up in a landfill.

Unique design, worth noting is creative thinking!
Question, what came to mind first, the duck or the shotgun shells?

As mentioned this is my second shotgun clock. I knew I wanted to make a second with the LED circuit. The duck thought came a little later while working on the wood. I think it all balances out well. Thanks for the kind words.
