I call this bowl “The First Thirteen” because it has the state quarters from the first 13 states inset in the feature ring. The 14th position is the face side of the coin showing George Washington. The coins are placed in order of their signing the Constitution and becoming States.
We have lived in Delaware which is the “first State” for the past 47 years.

The base is Goncalo Alves, the second and fouth ring is Maple and Padauk, the third is Jarrah and the feature ring is Walnut with Bloodwood spacers.

The bowl is 5” high, and 10” in diameter. The finish is Tung Oil.

love the design, good choice in woods for a pleasing contrast. I also like the idea of using the quarters.

Fantastic segmented turning. Love the use of the quarters. Great combo of woods also.

Keep it up.
