This was one of the first “real” projects I ever completed successfully. It’s made of ribbon sapele finished with I think two coats of spray bombay mahogany polystain then a few coats of high gloss wipe on poly with light sanding between coats. Thanks for looking.

Very cool! I love the look of sapele. Could you show a shot of the underside to show how the legs are joined to the table?

I second the request for a picture of how the legs were joined. Also—what did you use for the brass “ferrules” on the leg tips? Is that something you can buy, somewhere?

I cheated and ordered the legs from table They come with a metal angled mounting plate and the brass tips which I just epoxied on.
