Cedar with shellac finish and beeswax. The Hebrew letters are also cedar and shellac with two drops of red dye. The stool measures 9”x18” and 5” tall. The letters were carved with a Dremel and a 1/8 cutting bit. The legs sit in a 1/4” deep dado.

Great looking stool and a puzzle to boot.

Heeey !!! Zipsss

Now firstly I need to start of with you should feel very honoured to have a comment from Karson.
If you are wondering why I made the remark go check out his home and buddies.

Anyway back to the step stool,
It appears to be a very impressive build, and the reason I say “appears” is because there iare only two pictures to attempt to make a decision on, (four are missing for some reason)
Did you forget to post them?
When I go to check out the construction details most of the story is also missing too!. (very sad)
I have already worked out the letters are hebrew from the two remaining pictures and that the material is cedar from your one liner comment representing a story.
So so as a result some question I need to ask because of the lack of information if I may,

1. How is the base of the stool constructed
2. What are the overall dimensions of the stool
3. What do the letters say, I am assuming here its “Alana” but need confirmatiion please
4. How did you make the recess in the stool top for the letters, and
5. How did you make the inserted letters.

and that about sums it up from me apart from mazel tov of course!

Also on my bucket list now is to actually see a bee with SCUBA diving gear on or if thats just too silly a hiking backpack will suffice!

-- Regards Rob
