This is a cool iphone/ipod dock I saw on today. It is a very cool blog site, with a lot of new ideas from tons of designers, etc. This dock is made by Straight Line Designs Inc. – I think it is awesome! I wonder if it sounds as good as it looks????

Every woodworker’s shop needs this (I guess maybe only if you own an Ipod/Iphone)

PS – I wish I could have said that I built this…....but I didn’t :)

Nice, Doug. Is that a speaker in the end of that log? The i pod must play music?? yes?
But I really don’t know much about i pods or i phones. I don’t even have a cell phone. That way I can stay incognito when I travel and no one can find me!! I have a land line with an answering machine if it is important

Can you tell I’m old??

I’m new to this LumbeJjocks site and can see that I’m a few years behind the last post. I spent some time on your site and have enjoyed your projects Dakremer. Does anyone know how this project would be made so there are no cut lines on the bark? I know it could be hollowed out from behind but then how would the back be covered so the sound would end up traveling to the ends?
