Here are a few pictures of the finished Crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Jesus is mounted to the top of the chapel at the Cloisters on the Platte in Nebraska. It has been a long journey for me. I first started drawing, the next step was the clay model, then carving in wood about 10 months ago. I feel that God has blessed me with good health and many other things in life.

Thank you Lumberjocks For looking.

Amazing work Dennis. You should be very proud of this one.
It must have been a difficult but very gratifying piece to complete.

Really impressive Dennis. You’re a terrific artisan in a profession/hobby filled with craftsmen. That’s so far beyond anything I would ever attempt, let alone have 10 months have patience to achieve.
Thanks for sharing!

10 month wowza, truly beautiful work Dennis. Congratulations for a job well done.

A show I watch A Craftsman Legacy with Eric Gorges he always asks them do you consider yourself a Craftsman or an Artist. Enquiring minds have to know. Smile.

Dennis, may your blessing for undertaking this project be heaped so high that you are unable to count them all. Thanks for bringing us along for the ride.
