Small Kitchen Cabinet birch plywood, oak face frame and raised panel door, built to hold coffee goodies and butcher knives. Wife doesn’t like knives on the countertop, guess she doesn’t trust me. Cabinet is 11” wide 17” tall and 12” deep fits nicely along side the microwave. It’s all about function as opposed to style or design.

Very nice. Your wife will be very happy. I think she’s going to want a couple more built.

What is the little case for? Are those the butcher knives?

yeah the little case on the lh side is for butcher knives, its just made out of 3 pieces of birch plywood with some dado grooves then glued up, wife doesn’t like knives on the counter top. I know that part looks kinda goofy, the sides are birch plywood, oak strip veneered to the front and leopard wood veneered to the top, just goofin around with the ole glue bottle.
