The first picture was my first cross but I wasn’t too happy with it. While working on the second cross, I learned a few tricks and am a little happier. I know I still have a long way to go but I’m getting there. on a side note, I think since my wife claimed both crosses, I’m allowed to buy some extra wood this week. Just wish I lived somewhere that had more types of wood to offer.

Well everybody has to start somewhere.
Keep at it, and you’ll be amazed at how your skill grows.

When the wife demands your projects; you just have to forfeit them!
You will now have more crosses to bear, neat work and GOOD LUCK!
Consider yourself lucky your wife likes your work.

It gets better fast. A source of free wood for small projects is wooden pallets. Occasionally you’ll find a hardwood pallet that has some beautiful wood under the rough looking exterior. Have fun!
Have your say...
