Must be love that drives me to do things like this. Alot of cuts and pieces that had to fit pretty close. I originally built it with a grandson in mind, but not seeing him or his mom much, I may decide to keep it. Would love to make these for sale, but with the amount of $$ in it, i dont see me actually making anything on it.

Hi,
It’s cool, call your daughter, bring your grandson there, life is too short for family crisis.
Tell them that you love them, and that you build this from love, it might soften up.
Don’t want to lecture, but I have a extremely complex relation to my parents, so I just speak from my heart.

Would making templates of all the parts help?

Hey! Looks very familiar! (Check my gallery , I built one for my son 2 years ago)
Mafe is right, what a better way to get over differences than by a true expresiion of love.
If you do make them for money, I have seen them sell around here for $300. And I know I didn’t put nearly that into making mine, so money could be made…

I love it! But I agree with mafe. don’t let problems get in the way. It would be a lovely gesture.

great cyclerocker well done granddad
if you havn´t call them over then do it you won´t regret it
just to see the smile on a childes face is reward enoff
and the child can´t be blamed for what the grownup do
