When we moved into our house 10 years ago and started some reconstructions there then we found an old rocker from the attic. A lot of trash was thrown out, but I can’t remember why we kept it. Anyway, last year I decided to fix it.
Each leg was either cracked or totally broken at the tenon, so I disassembled it, stripped old finish from all parts, turned 4 new legs, glued back up and put on new finish.

Very nice work! I often wonder with old items like rockers how many stories were told to children and grand children while their elders rocked slowly. Lots of stories I’m sure
