This is the first wood project that I was commissioned to build, well actually some old family friends wanted a T.V. stand made to match their 20+ year old existing furniture (Honey Oak finish). Took me almost a year to actually start. Almost impossible to match the color for someone that seldom stains any wood.
Built with qtr. sawn White oak and some very expensive qtr. sawn White Oak veneer plywood,
Top is attached with Dowels.
Forgot to take a Picture of it before delivery so had to go back and get one in the in use pose!
All profit was used at Lee Valley for more toys!
The Wife thinks they paid too much so had me build them a little Dovetail remote tray. Walnut and leftover White Oak. (No Stain)

WOW that turned out well and they should be happy !
Matching the color and finish is always a problem and as the old stuff you are trying to match the new will age also . As they good work takes good time so don’t feel bad !

Great job. I’m glad I’m not the only one whose wife thinks we charge too much.
