I made several variations of thelse around Christmas time out of different species of wood. Very simple in design but are great for a desktop or nightstand. Dipped them in mineral oil for protection and some rubber feet to get them off the surface so the charger cord wouldn’t bind up. | |||||||

I built one of these, people who stop by the house and see it end up asking for one. I think i’ve built 6 now.
I didn’t add access for the charging port and just did my circular access hole parallel to the slot for the phone charger. Basically and even simpler design. It lacks your functionality.
