Folding Stool

My daughter wanted a small stool for her AG photos so found this online. I’ll probably increase the size a bit and drill on the press…my lining up seems really off doing it by hand. It was a short afternoon build; determining the size was hardest part. Thanks for looking.

Great start; this is a popular design for a variety of applications from stools like yours up to card table sizes. They are very sturdy.

If you use the design for more pieces in the future I would suggest you screw the tops on from the underside of the rails so the screws do not show. You may want to recess those screw holes to avoid using extra long screws. You can do the same with the stretchers on the legs. For tables, routing decorative edges on the top and rounding the ends of the rails improves the appearance.
