I have made many of these curved benches over the years but i do believe this one may be my current favorite. The slab averages 12” deep and is 60” long . legs taper in thickness from bottom ( 1- 3/4” ) to top ( 1 -1 /4”) Tried and true finish

The “Tried & True” wood finish I know of is about $23 to $26/quart.
Sold at Rockler and Woodcraft, and elsewhere.
They offer a few types, or formulas.

Well… I agree it is a simple look, but for me it would not be simple to build!
I don’t have a clue how I’d get the angles and curves, and intersections of the legs and stretcher to all fit together with such perfection.

Beautiful bench. I really like the flow of the curved seat and stretcher in particular. I know that the natural curved log doesn’t come along all that frequently. I too make benches, mostly out of hedge (Osage Orange) and am always on the lookout for that perfectly curved trunk.
