I read a magazine every morning with breakfast, and I wanted a stand to hold it up while I read, which could also be folded up stored easily. A quick project, and I should have spent more thought and time on the finish, but I’m looking forward to using it every morning. Made from Walnut. Finished with some “water based polyurethane” (whatever that means) flooring finish I had left over. Maybe will do again in future as a gift item.

Very nice. I like the size and how it folds up. GREAT Job !

What would have done differently? Is there a way to charge it while you’re reading. Seems like it would be a good place to look at recipes on the tablet while cooking. Nice!

Looks fantastic! I love the way you set it up to fold flat. It looks small and compact and easy to transport!

Having made a few of those in the past, for myself and others, the only suggestions I would make for use with a tablet is to have space for the cable to come up underneath the support piece if you want to use it while plugged in and to put a small 1/2 circle groove directly in the middle of the support piece to allow finger space to hit the home screen button.
