Name plaques for kids teacher

Finished another desk plaque, a request from my one of my kids teachers. Carved her name in a small cut off of quilted maple and inlaid it into a small block of figured Bloodwood. Added some stone inlay to the butterfly wings, gasperite I believe, looks like Opal in the photos, doesn’t look that nice in real life, still looks good but the photos are a little flattering, that never happens.

I scroll sawed out the name then pulled out the chisels and gouges sat in front of netflix and carved away, nice way to finish a day : )
