I have made a few of these napkin holders to give as gifts. This one is for my neighbor. My main shop is in my unheated garage, so a project like this allows me to do most of the work in my basement during the cold months of the year. It’s a good way to practice cutting dovetails by hand and a good way to use scraps. This one was finished with BLO and wax.

Great dovetails!! What’s wrong with a cold shop? I’ve worked in my shop when the thermometer dropped below 29° … LOL!

Nice little winter project! Keeps you in practice for the larger projects during the warmer part of the year.
