Wood bowl 1

I have had my lathe for about ten years and had made two or three small spindles on it. So about a mounth are so ago I decided to learn how to do it. A guy at work gave me some logs another guy gave him. The logs came from the Parks Dep. here in town. It was trees they had to cut down I think that had Duch Elm. I watched some youtube read some books and set to work. Two logs, countless catches, broken bowls land I may not be able to do this later this is what I ended up with. I will post some more pictures of other bowls. Let me know what you think and what I can do better.
