I custom designed and built this bar a couple of years ago. It has brass foot railing around the bottom to prop you feet up on. It has rope lighting under the front overhang. I also put rope lighting in behind the bar area to illuminate the appropriate areas. The countertop was made in two pieces and pieced together like a puzzle on site. The top is a mix of red oak, cherry, walnut and ash. I am extremely proud of this piece and get lots of good referrals from this job too!

I just looked through several of your recent project posts. You have a good eye for detail, and you keep the projects very usable as well. A hard to find combination!

I like the project. I am building a bar in my basement and was wondering the dimensions you had on this project as that is the part I am having a problem with figuring out.
it looks to be about 8 feetin length is that correct?
Again very nice project. Thanks!
