Karate Belt Box for an Friend

A good friend of mine has two kids taking karate classes and he asked me to make a display box for the belts. There are 10 belts in the progression and as the next belt is attained he thought that the old ones should be displayed. Good idea, so I designed a box to eventually hold the 10 belts out of Honduras mahogany and a 1/2” dowel that slides allowing the next belt to fit. The box is semi-permanently attached to the header over the bedroom door. I made 2 boxed so when the younger sister starts training she’ll have a place to display her belts too.
