Just finished this today. Been a while since I’ve been inthe shop to fire up the scrollsaw. Oldest son getting married in April so I only had about 3 weeks to get this done. Actually completed it in 4 days. Oak basket. Walnut bottom and tops with bloodwood hearts and chokecherry burl for letters. Inside lined with foam and silk to hold the rings for the ceremony.

Dennis…the tripod is working just great! It’ll really get a workout in a couple weeks at the oldest wedding. I’ll have to keep my eye on it there …

Great! Beautiful and unique. Could you give us an idea of how you made the basket weave?
