My wife and I enjoy watching TV together. We usually always have our laptops, tablets, or phones open or handy. Keeping all the remotes in reach, a pen and paper close by, along with a few other must have items near by was more than our old side table could handle. Not to mention having to plug all the cords and chargers in to an outlet. I built this new table for us. Plenty of outlets for chargers and cubbies for remotes and other sundries. Our tablets and laptops store in the slots below the table. It may not have the best style but it sure is functional

Sweet project. Love that power distribution panel, did you feed it off a hundred amp breaker?

lol…...thanks for your comment. We use the outlets for chargers there really isn’t a lot of amperage going through the outlets. The supply line is 12/3 SOOW, 12 AWG wire. I have an in line 20 amp circuit breaker between the plug and the outlets and there is a GFCI outlet wired first in line on the back panel. I think it is covered pretty well. Even with the lamp and all of our chargers we aren’t drawing more than 4 amps.
