Well it has taken a while to get the shop going but I have it going enough to build my first project that wasnt for specific use within the shop.
My father in law needed a small bench to set his computer on beside his desk to keep it above target range of their Miniature Pincher. So I threw together a quick little bench with a small drawer for accessories or whatever. Its made of standard pine with an light oak stain and poly over coat. Not my best work but it meets the requirements.
After building it I realized it would be really easy to build a simple hope chest using the same method just hinge the top and add some additional supports inside. That will be a project for a later date.
So here it is a simple mini bench with drawer.

Nice build on this bench. The pine looks good.

Thanks for the comments. It was a quick project but it turned out nice. I still have a lot of tools to get to make life easier and the projects better but that will come with time.
