These are some small boxes I turned a few days ago. Two are from a cedar mantle my friend bought and the third is a piece of Rosewood I bought at Woodcraft. The Rosewood was finished with a wax/oil mixture as was one of the Cedar pieces. The other cedar box was finished with Danish oil. Only the outsides of the Cedar boxes were finished. So they still smell nice when opened up. These are a lot of fun to make but I’m having a little trouble getting the lids as tight as i want.
