This is a boat bed that I just finished up. It was completed in January 2017. I finished it out in our standard Navy finish with a red pinstripe.

All the wood is Pine wood with a Red Mahogany finish Minwax. We did a lot of extra feature on this one. One being the Gallery Rail on the headboard to give it a little more of a decorative feel to it. I also put three deluxe portholes on either side. We replace the trundle that I normally put on there with three drawers on one side. This customer chose to have a false panel on the back side, but we could very easily put 3 drawers on that side as well.

We did this one in more of a Pirate Theme. We also put a mast with a Crow’s Nest at the top and a ships wheel at the front of the bed. It has the standard toybox built into the bow of the bed; with lid supports to save those fingers. We also cut air vents in the back to make sure their is plenty of airflow, just in case the child got in there.

We also added a dresser to this to match the theme. It has the standard navy finish with the red stripe. The wood is Pine wood with Red Mahogany as well.

Man what kid wouldn’t love this bed! I love the pirate theme, and all the extras you added, especially the portholes—wonderful touch!

Wow! What an awesome bed… Love it! I bet you don’t have say “it’s bed time” twice! LOL!
This makes me want to be a kid again.

Wow, and I though my idea for a Captains bed was a good idea. Back to the drawing board, more details needed.

Great looking bed and theme. I bet kid’s surprice and smille will be hughe. Verry nice looking accessories too – like round window.
