My mother passed away November 28’th at the age of 95. She was quite interested in my woodworking adventures and liked having me bring over pieces of my projects in the making. We are traveling to Florida this weekend to inter her ashes. It is made of white oak and almost entirely hand tools. The finish is natural Danish oil and wax.

Sorry for you loss Kevin. I think you know I lost my Dad last Spring at the age of 97. We were lucky to have them with us for so long.
Though an easy project for you skill set, I’m sure it was tough in ways difficult to know. I know I had a difficult time with Dad’s memorial flag case.
You did a wonderful job!
It’s a somber trip. Have a safe one.

Thank you, everyone.
Bill I remember. I think we traded thoughts on aging parents.

So sorry for your loss. This had to be the toughest build ever. She would be very proud.

Sorry for your loss, Kevin. You are very fortunate to be able to provide this urn for your mother, and she is fortunate to have it. It is a beautiful closing.
-- Honest, honey, I found it in the trash.
