Finished my 60” long console table to fill the space under the breakfast bar which we never, ever used as a breakfast bar lol. i’ll put my printers on the bottom shelf, printer supplies in one drawer, and office supplies in the other 2. this table started out as having 2 drawers, but rather than go buy more plywood, i just used what i had and made 3 smaller drawers instead.

table is all 1-by white pine with a natural poly finish. 1/2” birch plywood drawer boxes, 1/4” bottoms, full extension slides.

i’m getting better at squaring my projects (everything about this one’s on the money). now, i need to improve my skill at squaring a piece of wood to begin with without a jointer, and making true square cuts at the table and chop saws.

bought my first decent plane, and have started reading on how to use and maintain it.

Carol, it looks like you did a great job fitting the inset drawers. That is not an easy task. DAMHIKT
