These Toasting glasses are my latest turning project for my son and daughter in laws wedding 12/30/16. Maple and Walnut, stain on the Walnut, wop and buffed with the Beall system. Stem is a dowel turned with a Sorby spiraling tool. Comments or critique welcome. Thanks for looking

Very nice work on the bases, the glass part must be made especially for doing a project such as this?

Thank you for your comments. The glass flutes are actually normal toasting glasses I bought at a local goodwill store with the stems cut off. Craft supply does sell glasses without the stem for this type work but cost is $3-4 a piece. Not a bad price but goodwill is $1 a piece.
