This is a game that I played for many an hour in my youth and actually still play occasionaly. The object is to remove pegs as they are jumped by another and to end up with only 1 peg left in the center hole. In all the years I have played this I have never even come close to winning.
The box and top are made from recycled oak with walnut splines, the pegs are 1/2” dowels, finish is 3 coats of wipe on poly.

I think the one we had say 60 years ago had another row on each side. Have not tried it for years. Almost like a computer game you can never win.

I too have played that game when I was young. Sometimes you do good and sometimes you don’t. Your game looks great.

I use to have that game and knew how to solve it. Not because I am smart, but because I found instructions somewhere. I could not do it now.

Nice job on making it.
