Some Christmas presents from my great great grandfathers barn. I made candle holders for myself and siblings along with two cousins. I made two trays that the candle holders are sitting in, one for my mother and one for my aunt. The generation below mine received ornaments, just small slices of wood with a recessed circle from a Forster bit and a small cross fashioned from some sqaure nails salvaged from the barn. All simple projects that hopefully hold some sentimental value to the recipients. The second picture is a reminder to everyone to be careful. Taken after I pulled my thumb off.

Very beautiful rustic style. I like those saw marks on tray.

Thank you, the wood was clean enough that I decided to leave it unfinished as well. The candle holders just have poly on them. You may want to look ate the dining room table that I made from the barn as well. It was a little more complex.
