that must weigh a ton…. at least half. Wow Completly solid oak? I bet it cost a fortune too! I gues you don’t have to worry about the headboard hitting the wall on that thing….j/k

What types of fasteners are you using? ( break down clips, Just screws, biscuits/dowels)

Looks like it’s coming along real well though. Nice joints and nice corners.

thx guys..its not a ton its about 100 kg.solid oak.
it didnt cost me anything cause customer brought theyre own wood..but in store it would cost 320dollars.

You must be outside of North America, as I can NEVER find oak that looks this nice. I call it European oak, but even when I use white oak here in the states, I can’t get this look. Can you share your thoughts on a finish oil that won’t ‘yellow’ it too much? Great looking bed.

this one particular is old about 30 years so its little bit red,lotts of worm holes and so on.not the best quality.
finish oil-i use mix of beeswax,linsed oil and tung oil.but all depends on wood.oil brings up the colour that wood already has.
