This was a very simple project but I loved doing it. I built this to go with a toy stuffed deer head I got my foster son for Christmas. When we got him he was pretty leery of me until I let him pet all the deer mounts I got on my wall. I wanted to get him one of his own so I made this plague to hang his on the wall where he can get to it. It was made of an old piece of pine I’d had laying out in the weather. I used an old hand plane (first time I’ve used one) to clean it up then cut it with my “new to me” bandsaw. I rounded the corners with a file. Like I said it was pretty simple but he loved seeing it hanging on the wall when he came in tonight
