I recently finished this little project made from 19mm block board with a grade A oak veneer and wax finish.
It is just a simple design with tapered legs and sunk in handles. The sidewalls are dadoed in the legs It was a rebiuld for a family heirloom. I used some methods like the Kreg pocket holes that the original did not have, but all of the holes were covered. It took more time than I anticipated but I guess the result was worth the extra hours. (I was very busy with other things, so I could just spend about an hour or two a day and so it unfortunately took about 40 hours to get it done)
I wanted to finish it on a weekend, but “sometimes you loose and sometimes the others win”

That turned out nice. I am confused though, what is all the quarter sawn oak doing on the inside?
