After a long wait I was finally able to put a couple of my walnut slabs to use. I cut these slabs with a chainsaw mill off my own place, which makes it a little more meaningful, and have had them drying the past few years. I have had them propped up in the shop for a while now trying to figure out what to make with them. My wife has been asking for a table for a while now so I thought this would be the perfect fit. Really happy on how it turned out and I can’t stop staring at the slab on the top of this thing!

Beautiful job!!! The finished product is very eye catching and I enjoy the contrast of the live edge and white growth vs dark heart wood.
